Xani's Author left for the weekend, so, unbeknownst to her, I kidnapped my spouse and our baby. So, for days now we've been cuddling and singing songs to little Satine who just seems to love it, because I could swear she dances, Xani says there is so much activity! I think our girl will be a dancer someday.
And yes, in case you think I'm jumping the gun or engaging in wishful thinking, we found out on Wednesday that Xani's carrying a girl! I've been adding all kinds of girly touches to the nursery. Xani's been giggling and rolling his eyes, telling me he just knows I'm going to spoil her. To which I can only reply yes, don't all little girls deserve to be indulged by their daddies?
Xani's belly is getting bigger, it's so cute. I've started oiling it, so it will help with the stretch marks. I hope he won't be embarrassed about them after Satine is born, because forever, when I see them on his skin it will remind me of what he gave us and our family. I just love him.
