What A Ride!!!!!
So thanks to everyone that called to wish me a happy birthday- It made me feel special especially cause I got calls from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Jacksonville Florida, and Albuquerque New Mexico!!! Yippee!! Just to fill everyone in on the events of the day (and the encore presentation on Friday night), here's how it went down.... at least the interesting parts anyway.
On Thursday, I got my traditional birthday dinner of Corned Beef and Cabbage-- yum yum-- with chocolate cupcakes for dessert!! Then Mom and I hit the casino (Mohegan of course), had chocolate martinis in the sky bar and played to slots to celebrate (nope- did't hit it big- shucks). That was possibly the most fun I've ever had on my birthday in a while.
On Friday night, Mark, Diane, and Shawn all took me out to Burke's Tavern in EL (its the only one nearby i guess) and I proceeded to find out that I can't drink as much as my older brother who is about 70lbs heavier than me.... In case you're curious the birthday bar tab and in this order too:
a pitcher of bass for the 4 of us (don't really like beer)
rum and coke
a shot of sambuca
another rum and coke
a shot of sambuca black (i love licorice flavor)
fries (gotta eat right??)
and a mind eraser
then at home I meet up with parrot bay and coke a la mark (ie STRONG).... Needless to say, i was just slightly drunk.... ok-- well maybe not slightly... But hey- so was my brother (he drank everything that I did). Never plan on doing that again... Note to self: bad idea....
Anyhow- now its time to do some school work cause I didn't get any done over break...
