Dinosaur Train.
canon: dinosaurs travel around time on the Dinosaur Train. It is known to all dinosaurs encountered, and most dinosaurs encountered ride it at least once (including some who live underwater, excluding those who are physically too large to ride it, though these typically recall fond times in their smaller/younger years where they did ride it).
canon: the train itself is steam, powered by coal.
canon: the troodons built the train. one troodon in particular is always on it, and leaves it semi-regularly to join the main cast on vacation. this particular troodon is also the main conductor, even when vacations happen, and seemingly knows every single dinosaur in every single time period by name. and now the formatting is getting jank again, so my list will have to end here. i'll continue on with my thoughts in this paragraph because i have no other choice, the return key doesn't actually put the cursor (which has been invisible for the last eight lines anyway) on another line. no, i have no idea why. no i don't feel like trying to screw with switching formatting types, every time i try that, it messes things up further. no i don't care anymore. ANYWAY. dinosaur train things... the conductor of the dinosaur train is god, or all troodons are god, and they picked one in particular to be the head of the train. the coal never runs out. dinosaurs eat carrion, and where this carrion comes from is NEVER discussed (which i'll handwave because this is a kid's show). the train shows up at the appropriate platforms every quarter hour, more or less. this further lends credence to the idea that the conductor is god, because certainly the train does not exist purely for the edification and adventuring of only the main cast, because otherwise, why would there even be other dinosaurs at other stations? all other dinosaurs shown have heard of the train, which would make it far more mythical and disbelieved if it were only present for the main cast. so the train exists for all dinosaurs in all time periods, on a regular timetable. conductor is god. and now it is time for bubbles, gotta go!
