Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated!
So hey, internet. Uhh, long time no see. Here's what happened: In early January (I still have a to-be-finished Yuletide recs post waiting for me), my boss went on extended medical leave and gave us basically zero notice. Like, told us Friday at 2PM when his leave started Monday.
AND MY LIFE GOT FLIPPED TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
I spent those next three months doing half his job, while his boss (our center director) did the other half. It was to the extent that we started planning for summer camp and I was going to meetings, in addition to my actual job of being a computer teacher. Between that and school and my museum job, I didn't really have a lot of time for the internet. My boss finally came back about two weeks ago, so things are slowing down again.
In that time while I was away, I kept up on twitter and tumblr mostly because I could jump in and out of them easily. Also I'm not really productively fannish about much of anything right now. But I'm sorry if I missed cool or important or awesome stuff that you did. You're all still neato keen.
Anyway, this will help me get back in the swing of things. DON'T THINK I WON'T POST THOSE FOREVER-LATE YULETIDE RECS. I WILL, GODDAMNIT. ALSO SOMEONE TALK TO ME ABOUT GAME OF THRONES BECAUSE AHHHHH FEEEELINGS. SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT SO MANY CHARACTERS I CAN'T HAAAANDLE IT.
