So. Yeah.
This could be an entry about how, no, bandslashers are not oppressed (and I haven't seen anybody in bandom say that and from the last entry you can tell that I've been reading a lot of places lately) but we are defensive. Like popslash or Harry Potter (and lots of other sources) our fandom/obsession/investment of choice is not particularly respected by the world at large. It's hard out there for a fan of cheese, yo. So, yeah, it does sting when people in fandom rag on someone's (your own) canon for not being good enough, because it just feels like more of the same from a place we love.
(Not to mention this particular fandom also has the music tie-in, which a lot of bandomers feel VERY strongly about and connect with, so it just salts the wounds)
BUT THAT WOULD BE BORING AND WANKY AND TL;DR.
Instead, have a picspam of my happy places.

Also, GIP, in honor of Gerard's wedding to Lyn-Z, he is now Gee-Z. Because you know he took her name. She's just
badass like that.
PS: Madeline L'Engle
passed away yesterday. There is no emoticon to express my feeling of loss. Ummm... scroll back up to the happy? :/
