1. Who is your character's confidante?
Mel doesn't so much have confidantes as such - if nothing else because she kind of has trust issues, but also because she doesn't really keep active secrets. She tells people things based on spur of the moment decisons - depending on the circumstance and her gut feeling. She's a very visceral person like that. Her refusal to back down from a direct question is also why a Prince she has spoken to twice knows things about her past that her adopted brother does not.
But having said that, ever since canon she's been putting a concerted effort into telling everything to her sister Erin, copper_fray. They were estranged for five years, and are trying hard to rebuild this relationship. It's hard going at times, as it requires Mel to volunteer information she wouldn't, usually, but she's working on it.
2. Is your character married? Does he have a lover, significant other, girlfriend, boyfriend?
Ahahahahaha NO.
Aside from not believing in marriage, there are reasons Mel is not married and never ever will be.
Mel's boyfriend is Michealangelo - mnt_mike. They started off as best friends, then became fuckbuddies when Mike turned human. Against their own better judgement, they fell in love, and now they have the kind of unbreakable, unconditional love that only the really truly naive can fall into. But there's no future there, and they know it. Mel will not stay in the bar onve she becomes unBound: she will return home and probably die within the next five years. Mikey is only 'playing' at being human. He will one day go back to being a turtle and lose the ability to love her. but right now, apart from their world and their duties, it's a vacation, and they enjoy every second they have together.
3. Whom does your character live with?
She shares one of the few two-person suites in the Bar with Lilly Kane, (awesome_lilly), and they keep a basket at blanket sreadily available for Cera the juvenile triceratops (tinyceratops,) who is not-quite-pet, not-quite-adopted child to them. The suite is across the corridor from that whihc Mike shares with Indiana Jones (henry_jones_jr), and the four come and go in each other's places enough that it's not unexpected to0 find any of the four in either suite. The boys also have a pet elephant, Stampy.
In Haddyn, Mel lives with no one other than Legs, her monkey-demon. Erin's been trying to get her to move in with her, but Mel feels such a loyality to the warrens that she will not leave.
4. If you were to use the speed dial function on your character's telephone, who would answer?
Mel does not own a telephone. In Bar or in Haddyn. She distrusts grid-like technology like that. But she does carry her Security badge, which acts as a communicator with all members of Security, so that will have to do.
5. How does your character feel about his co-workers? What are they like?
This... varies. The nature of Security in the Bar is more of a group of friends wortking together than a cohesive unit, and Mel has personal opinions based on the individual. Her immediate superior is Alanna of Trebond (a_lioness), and she is also a very good friend, after the two got over their mutual intimidation of each other. This involved alcohol and assigning nicknames to the SEcurity team of the time.
Security also contains two of Mel's sisters, both the real sister and her adopted younger sister Steph Brown ( i_spoiled_it ), as well as Arithon prince_arithon, whom Mel adores. The others, she likes and respects to varying degrees because of a mutual affinity for violence.
The only one she doesn't get on with is Raphael (mnt_raph ) for reasons surrounding trying to kill each other.
But mostly, Security is a rag-tag bunch of people who couldn't get a job bartanding. And it shows.
As a grabber in Haddyn, Mel had no co-workers.
6. To whom did your character give birthday presents last year, and what did he give them?
Mel doesn't tend to give presents, because she's not used to this 'having possessions' milarkey. Uusally, she just likes to throw a party, gving out booze liberally.

Just as she doesn't give out presents, she's not used to celebrating her birthday. This is mostly because her birthday is also that of her dead/evil vampire twin brother Harth (dreamer_fray), and celebrating brings her pain.
This year, she received presents from only her blood family: those who knew about the birthday. Erin gave her a cake and Kicky boots. To match her Security nickname. Harth bought her roses. Creep.
