1. Who is your character's confidant?
back at home his closest friends were roger, joanne and collins. he could pretty much ask them anything or talk to them about anything, and know they knew him well enough to give him good advice. collins is probably the most understanding of the three; he's known mark the longest.
on the island mark can still go to roger (one__song) though they weren't speaking for a long time that's finally no longer the case. also, them being together has changed the tenor of the relationship somewhat, though he still trusts him implicitly. mark has also gotten close with leoben (seer_of_god) and also considers holden (holden_mcneil) someone he can go to. dr. house (misanthrope_md), john sheppard (flyboy_shepp) and dylan sanders (angel_dylan) are people he trusts but he wouldn't want to go to them unless there was a problem that concerned more than just his emotional stress though house has helped him with emotional stress in the past as well but we don't mention that because we want wilson to like mark eventually.... he's paranoid about being a pain in the ass, heh.
2. Is your character married? Does he have a lover, significant other, girlfriend, boyfriend?
not married. he's hooked up with a few people on the island but is now [finally] with roger and, we hope, going to stay that way.
3. Whom does your character live with?
right now he lives in one of the basement dorm rooms in the island compound; his roommates are maureen (drama_maureen), dylan, sheppard and snape (i_am_snape).
4. If you were to use the speed dial function on your character's telephone, who would answer?
well given that most of the people mark would call actually live with him, we'll pretend they had cell phones in 1989 and say [in this order] roger, collins, joanne, maureen, angel, benny, his sister cindy, alexi darling's 3 numbers, and his parents.
5. How does your character feel about his co-workers? What are they like?
when he has a job, hehe, his co-worker is alexi darling who is possibly the most obnoxious woman ever to roam the earth.
6. To whom did your character give birthday presents last year, and what did he give them?
i doubt he could afford any. unless he saw something that just screamed 'so-and-so has to have this' at him, he probably scrounged up some money to throw each person a little party with stuff they liked to eat and enough booze to get them all drunk. :)
7. What did your character receive for his last birthday?
probably the same kind of thing, haha. if anything, roger and joanne might have gone in together to get him something; camera accessories or something similar. his mother probably gave him money, i imagine she gets around mr. cohen's no-more-money-for-mark-till-he-stops-ruining-his-life rule that way... his sister probably the same thing.
