She hated when Jonathan went to that place. Duela understood why he went, of course, but she didn't have to like it. His worrying over her mother wasn't going to make her any better. She was always going to be... just like she was now.
Duela sighed, shutting her eyes as she stretched out on the couch of the newly redone upstairs study. Even if he never held sessions here, she'd made the room into an office for Jonathan, ready for private practice if he so chose.
The young woman waited, listening for the sound of the front door. Even up on the second floor, she always heard it.
