Life Lately

Drowning -
Waves crash and I go
Under.
Kicking and trying
Not to scream

Fighting
Break through the surface
Inhale,
Dragging and pulling
Each breath in

Moving -
Running through all this
Debris.
Picking and sorting
Out this mess

Living
Finally changing
Conduct,
Walking and learning
How to be

--------

Untitled

The aged clock hangs on the wall
Its face cracks
The plastic breaks open, I stand
I peer inside, hoping to uncover
What went wrong, what’s out of order

I find nothing of the sort

The cogs and gears grow chains
They wrap around my arms,
My legs, my stomach and neck
I lose consciousness
And fall victim to the clockwork

-----------

The second one needs some revisions...I'm still working exactly what those will be though.  Hope you liked these.  :)
