just tryin' to relax
ugh. i'm sick. the miserable kind of sick where, even though i've been able to stay in all day , blanketed, while it's snowy and cold outside, it's impossible to feel comfortable. and i have that gross, sluggish feeling from laying around too long. i can't sleep because i can't get comfortable, but i can hardly keep my eyes open to move around or do anything. cleaning i've tried, i always feel compelled to clean when i get sick. and i have a two page response due for biopsych that i would looovve to get done, but that ain't happening tonight. so i'm drinking water and tea and eating blueberries and taking cough drops in the hopes that i will miraculously get better overnight so i can enjoy the rest of the weekend.
in other news, last week was productive in terms of guilty pleasures: i downloaded the ENTIRE second season of The L Word and watched it. ahhh. gloria steinem was in the season finale which freakin' rocked! the show is definitely not totally pc and could be a-lot better, but i commend the creators of it for their attempt to include a wide variety of queerness and other issues.
