"Oh God! Can it be... can it actually be a post from Matthew?"
"Yes, you idiot, it's a post from Matthew."
"Are you sure? And I mean realy, realy sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure, dammit. Look, this is Matthew's livejournal, right? And Matthew is the only person that knows the password, right? So it stands to reason that this is indeed a post from Matthew. Livejournals don't just update themselves y'know."
"Good point. Makes sense that. Stands to r- WAIT A GOD DAMNED SECOND! Who the hell are you?"
"Me? Well, actaully, I think I'm you."
"Bullshit! You can't be me, I'm me dammit. There just isn't enough space in one me for the both of us!"
"How about this: Maybe I'm you, you're me and we're both the same person and that person just so happens to be broken up into a few bits."
"That could work I guess. How many bits?"
"Three I think."
"Three? How's that work when there's only been two of us in this conversation?"
"The other one's hiding somewhere, real quiet like - like a fish."
"Like a what?"
"Like a fish."
"A FISH?!"
"Yes, a fish. Have you ever heard a fish make any noise?"
"Well I guess that's a good point, but I haven't been listening very hard, have I? Wait a minute. Have you been listening to, even talking to, the fish? 'Cause that would make you crazy."
"In all honesty, my friend, I think we crossed the crazy line back when we established that you and I are in fact the same person and are trying to not be overheard by our fishy counterpart over there."
*mildy confused silence*
"Anyway, back to the original topic of conversation. If this is indeed, as you claim, a post from Matt, then where is he."
"You know what, I am starting to believe that he may just be us."
"Oh... poor bastard."
*wanders off, muttering to self*
Anyway indeed. Its been a while since I last updated. In that time I've had a holiday, most of which was spent in the blessed practice of laziness. The rest of the time I was asleep. Then there was the term. Which was, I must admit not all that different to the holiday, except that some of the sleep was down in lecture seats and I got to play with dangerous chemicals every now and then.
As a result of my laziness my marks dropped a bit (read: lots) so I'm going to have to work fairly hard next term to keep up my fairly good GPA. I think, that to get a first for maths I need to get 100% for the rest of the year... Oh well, what's life without a bit of challenge every now and then?
Anyway, its much too late to still be awake so I am going to take care of that in one of two possible ways. Either going to bed or falling asleep on the keyboard. From past experience I know that the bed option is by far the most comfortble, which means that I'm going to bed now.
Goodnight
