1. Last night i forgot to say thank you. you've been there for me thru thick and thin. I know i can always turn to you for anything. you've given me some of the best advice anyone has; andrew, as tacky as this sounds, you're an inspiration. even when you're down, the fact that you can express yourself and have the courage to do so shows how strong a person you are. and when you're happy, the happiness radiates out. but we all know you're the one enjoying the moment the most. it's kinda like that quote - maybe you're the one i heard it from - "Happiness is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel it." so before i start to cry while typing this, i'm gonna move on...

2. "I told myself to restrain myself so as not to scare everyone away right away." don't you dare! the exuberant you is the one you know. if you hide your personality in order not to scare anyone, you're just gunna start yourself out in a new hole. that's not what you want - you've been saying that for the past year. think of the penny - your crisp new paper to write the next chapter of your life. don't start by referring to a past chapter. it defeats the purpose. be yourself. you'll attract those who will appreciate you best.
