i don't know if this happens to everyone but sometimes if i'm doing something i particularly like...i'll start imagining how my actions would be described in a novel in which i'm the heroine. Today I went to Barnes and Noble (which i loooooove...i think it might be one of my favorite places to go) and being in book stores excites me to no end. I love that in a bookstore you will always find something you like that excites you. I also love the feeling of intelligence and wisdom all around you. I love knowing that no matter what happens to me in life, I can always escape by reading a book. I used to go to B&N a lot in high school and also when I got a car in college. I used to study at the B&N cafe in Charlottesville. I love that they have a S'Bucks in B&N. That was a BRILLIANT marketing move. I can (usually) never go into B&N without buying coffee and staying for a while and reading a book or magazine. I also love books and writing because being an author is one profession that you get better at with age. The older you are the more experience you have, the more you've lived through and the more you have to write about. I often find myself getting frustrated because I want to write a novel but I don't know anything haven't lived through anything. I know its called fiction but still...I could never capture the emotions of anything or anyone but a bratty emo teenage and no one wants to read about that. But I was walking through B&N and felt inspired and I imagined this scene where a 21 year old girl who has lived a dull and somewhat lonely life walks into a bookstore and is inspired by all the journeys people have taken, all the hardships they've overcome, all they knowledge they have aspired to gain, all the wisdom they've accrued. She vows not to waste her life wallowing in self pity and live, instead, a fabulous life full of adventure, selflessness, and some romance!
On another a completely different note
I went exploring in a stream today and it was sooooooooo much fun
I also ate tons and tons of mulberries off of a tree that grows in my neighborhood
