You'll be the one to always complain

J'ai mal aux fesses.

For all you who don't speak French, "fesse" means, literally, "butt cheek". This pain is due to the wonderful sport that is track. Art thinks I'm just a tad bit fitter than I actually am. I was lacking some...well, a lot of oxygen at the end of the 300 meter dash...well, it's not really a dash. Really. Not at the pace I was going. And now I hurt. A lot. That is the reason I'll be hobbling around tomorrow, walking very oddly, and probably groaning every time I sit down or stand up. And it's the reason I'm just blabbering on in a spacey manner. So now you'll understand. But I don't believe I'm the only one who will be a-hobblin'. I think the first day of spring sports, everyone is really inspired and excited and "yes, this year I'm going to be really good!" And of course, bodies that "ate Christmas...and, well, January too" (as Anna so aptly put it) don't really respond positively. So I think I speak for a lot of us when I say, OUCH.

And to piggyback on Christina's post, good luck to all the play people! I think you sometimes forget how good and funny you are, you've seen the play so many times, but enjoy. I'll be watching you all tomorrow! And Friday and Saturday, when I run the lights. Have fun!
