Two more weeks....
Overall, this weekend was good(non-stressful). I danced both Friday and Saturday night, which is always fun!Friday night was kinda lame, SGA's planning, that is. Saturday was hot. I finally got Berlina to go somewhere with me! Ere comica! We went to a friends house of mine in Spanish Club with Illinet, our future roomate. It was a planned get-together ordeal...actually it was a surprise going away party for our two eldest members in the club...They both have been on the trip (Dominican Republic) at least four times (very experienced) and now are retuning to Miami to work on their Doctorates (and planning to start a program of their own). I'm so excited for them...
Yesterday, Amber, Missy and I went to Marco Island. Let me tell you what, The scenery was unsurprisingly much more better than our lago falso. La playa was a lil' bit windy....Then we hit up the dollar store...everything really was a dollar! Entonces, we went to that resturaunt with the TV's (Bub's???). Anyways, it was the first time I have watched a movie with Marilyn Monroe in it and spelled out Missy's and Amber's name in ketchup...It was a very eventful day....lol
Last night or shall I say, this morning, Missy and I took a trip to Wal-mart. I've been going loca from buying moving supplies...I can't wait to get the heck out of here...next year will be soooo much better...I really look forward to this summer because I want to be able to focus on other things I haven't had the opporunity to do like:
~read the books I have been meaning to read over the past year
~read the Bible
~work* at FMIP as much as possible
~take a small course load @ Edison
~work* with the Migrant students in the summer institute @FGCU!
~work* with CROP!
~practice, practice, practice Spanish!
* work is like play for me...I LOVE what I do....
Can't wait!
