Not long enough. I wondered how long it would be before they tried to matchmake myself and varno. And today at tonights rotary presidents do hr and waitresses dropped the q.
Was a very pleasant, if formal, event. But I can't say I regret going. I feel a lil guilty for describing it to my work mates as a posh do wiht boring people. They're not boring they're just older and not always very able to chat with us younger types.
Work was quiet, not dead but quiet for a saturday. Met yet another new member of staff - a girl who is a regular customer and a little bit difficult as a customer apparently by repute on the first floor. Met another on friday- the new nvq guy. Seems nice. And there's still one more to come - filling my old best work pal bradford's position.
Nothing much more to say except toodles, am off to bed. GB went to london to see friends.
