Work and stuff
I like work. Its tiring, and in its essence dull but I like the environment a lot and I love the people. I never tire of saying that. I should though.
I should also stop pestering Feather who no doubt is being driven nuts by me. I think I'm kinda generally bored. Even though I like work I think I'm still bored. Maybe I'm happy bored. Interesting concept.
Red emailed today, its style was somehow comforting and terrifying at the same time, I'm not sure what to think it really means. It brought back all the fear that had dulled to a quiet rumble since last friday about her. I really hope things work out for her. She's suffered enough.
And Feather bless her. On the surface she seems so much more together than she has been. Yet I read her diary and she seems so much worse. I have nothing more I can do, if I call, if she calls me, I can talk, occasionally suggest stuff.
Maybe this boredom is the source of my trillian skin obsession. Downloaded another one. I like it. It's called Solaris Blue. It's the most inventive I've seen yet. Most of them just seem like varicoloured attempts to seem like yet another Mucro$oft program. What's the point in that?
Accounts for the germany beery event my club did are looking more cheerful, less money was spent on food than expected. I can only be grateful seeing as they seemed seriously out of kilter and I hate account sums that don't add up.
Been offered some extra hours at the library and I've taken them. They're not permanent, just some fill in hours but I'm grateful to have them anyway. Finally sorted out my p45 from the agency, they're gonna post it by the end of the week. This mysteriously doesn't mean I've left them, which is what I always thought it meant. And one of the younger librarians who did the course I wanna do to become a librarian in the uni I'm apply to has promised to help me sort my second reference. Bless.
