one of those nothing days
it's raining, or was...I did some more work on the MA statement. I hate them soooooooooo much. Been to the library mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm new books. But other than that, not much. I've got a bit obsessed with group IM chats with friends of a friend made in yahoo scifi chat. That's come straight after an obsession with trillian skins and umm something else I forget now.
Work goes OK. Yesterday was the first day I walked to the train station and walked home from it in the evening... My feet were really aching after that I can tell you. I've done a new task at work - renewals - which means answerin the phone and takin book trolleys to be emptied. I forget how many other things I have to learn - membership ummm ummm mebbe something about upstairs information point. I'm a little paranoid about one of my bosses - ben. He has a tendancy to hover and be a little nervous/cautious about things. He was the nerdy one from my interview. He seems very sweet, but I'm just feeling a bit overprotected / trapped by oversimplified explanations. I don't mind things being not rocket science, and I do find somethings bafflingly high on stuff to remember. But I'm not made of glass.
Meanwhile all is a bit unnerving chez Red. I hope she's alright (details aren't my business to promulgate). Really lookin forward to her being over here.
