Chewin the fat
I'm really glad PM still wanted to meet for a meal tonight despite the change in plans. I had a rilly nice time with PM and varno. It was just nice to be talking to PM, but it was also nice to have both PM's experienced view on rotaracty stuff and varno's alternative view.
It was meant to be out at a meal with a bunch of us from rotaract...only at the last minute networkguy and lillass chickened out, suupposedly to do with lillass moving but surely she could have predicted either that she was moving (what networkguy said in HIS text) or that she would be tired (her phone message). Meh. I cancelled and was going to just give up and go somewhere with olds but PM decided she wanted her very late present hehehehehe.
Was the usual saturday at work with me and the other children's lib, plus help from a guy from the info team who coped remarkably well considerin he's not terribly child-friendly. Very humorous tho.
Poor old Y is not doing too well with dragging me off on a cheapie holiday. My saturdays are apparently too sparse between now and the end of the year. Can't help it mate!
Had this absolutely petrifying dream early this morning. Only it doesn't seem so bad in retrospect. I dreamt my sister was getting married and that my family had never met the groom and then later on she makes this speech about how she married him to spite us (my family) and there was this bit where I'm hugging her telling her how much I love her. Weird. No idea where that came from. I mean I'm not totally psyched on her boyfriend but he's not mistreating her and seems to care a lot about her so I don't really care. And I'm not having any probs personally with her. I saw her on weds unexpectedly (got given the day off) and i went into her office to collect her for a meal and she gave me a spontaneous hug of delight. Awww. And she's not likely to get married right now, or in fact to spite us and if she did she wouldn't say so. Can't quite see what it might have been a jumping off from either. Meh.
Anyhoo I'm a lil tired now so I'm a-going to bed.
