woot! potato gun wars!
first you hear a "whump!" sound from the other side of the woods (two houses away)...and then you see the potato flying over the trees...the crowd makes an appropriate sound...big oohs and ohs should they actually hit our yard...suggestions on where to aim if they miss...
then my one of my brothers preps the "spud gun" to reply, (the spud gun is a pipe, with a sparkplug in the bottom, with a cap that has a little button that ignites the sparkplug, hairspray is used as an accelerant.)
everyones is shushed as our potato is launched...and we listen for their ooh's and oh's should we hit their yard....our last just hit their roof. it's tin (imagine that) and the potato makes this resounding "bonk!" sound....followed by their yelling...and another potato toward us...
