(no subject)
So I was keeping this thing not because I thought anyone needed to read it, but because there are a lot of friends I have here on LJ, from back in the day at college, and we're all so scattered now that it was nice to hear from them when they updated. The good deal is, all my college friends who have LJs are already on facebook. (Them and more.)
But the more I think about it, the more I realize I've met some fun people here who I've never actually met... and still want to read their stuff when I fuck off outta here. (Which will be... any moment now.) The bad news is, it'd be weird to put online friends in your facebook. (Well... apart from a few of you. But if I haven't met you already, I will soon, so whatever!) But there are only so many social networking things I can stand before my head explodes. And anyhow, I've had this thing for almost four years now, and I had my old LJ for about the same amount of time before that (I think I had to get a code from like... Reen or someone to make it. Wow dude. Weird.)
Anyhow, I'm going to go and friend everyone with my openID, which is greyjoy.insanejournal.com. Yes, everyone. If you friend me back within a week or so, I'll assume you either
a- desire to let me continue to read and comment on your flocked journals (which I can and will do if you friend me back, though I will not maintain a journal here anymore.)
or
b- are at least active enough in LJ to notice when someone friends you, and would feel bad NOT adding me.
If you don't add me back, it's a nice gentle way you can get rid of me for good. See how neatly that works out?
I might even delete this thing, once I download it all.
