i've left out my tv on dvd, because if i left it in here i'd have the opportunity to tell you that jay watches the gilmore girls with me.
some of these we turned off within twenty minutes ( a history of violence and troy ), and some of them i've seen dozens of times but for some reason i did not own at the time ( toy story 2, stir of echoes, pulp fiction ), some were just whims; nonsense movies we wouldn't have to pay attention to but heard were entertaining for one reason or another ( harold and kumar, mean girls, bruce almighty ) and some were very pleasant surprises. ( dear frankie, adventures of priscilla: queen of the desert, the life aquatic. )
among other categories.
