where to start, where to start ..
a few weeks ago i began to notice a dull ache in the back of my mouth. it was tolerable, so i ignored it, which is a famous family trait. this weekend however, it grew into a pain so intense i couldn't sleep. so yesterday i swallowed my severe dislike of dentists (strangers putting their hands in your mouth.) and went. turned out i need a bit of work done, but before any of it i have to get the tooth that aches so much pulled completely. which is why i'm up so early today.

actually, it's not the only reason why i'm up so early. i had to wander over to panera first thing to, ta da, put my notice in. i finally got a new job. one that pays more, one that seems tolerable, with a staff so small it should be almost completely devoid of drama. and, i get a discount on video games. : ) that's the gift that keeps on giving in this household. i'm not quite sure how much the discount is, but my first day coincides with a paycheck from panera, so here's to good timing.
also, according to jay and cristina's long list of release dates today marks the arrival of: x-men legends 2, fable: lost chapters, and anansi boys.
