jay and i are all geeked out over firefly now. i should've known sooner, because i love just about anything joss whedon's had an association with ( my buffy and angel roots are showing. ) it's like cowboys in space. awesome, sarcastic cowboys and their comic relief crew members in space. with guns. netflix sent out the 4th and final firefly disc today, and i'm equally excited and depressed over it. what're we going to do with no more malcolm reynolds? wait for the movie, i guess. according to an article i read, this the first movie in a three picture deal signed with universal. this ensures jay and i can be geeked in a new way for years to come.
exhibit b:
that cash in the most fantastic kitten in existence, rivaling all other fantastic kittens before him ( such as vidal's joey, david's jovi, and james' sascha and sebatian. )

awe.
he's gotten so much bigger in just three weeks, he's practically full grown cat. he eats his body weight in cat food a day, and he deposits twice that amount in the litter box, i swear it. he's grown especially affectionate in the mornings and is a quick, snarky little devil around 9 every evening. his favorite button to press on the keyboard is the caps lock button, although twice now he's managed to restart jon secada songs just by bouncing across the keyboard.
he likes to pounce on jay's feet as a means to wake him up, and mew incessantly to wake me. i forgive him quickly though, because yesterday when he managed to get my eyes open he slowly put a paw square on my nose, as if to say "there you are."
exhibit c:
the fall. i know autumn is sort of a nationwide epidemic, but the air doesn't get too cool in florida until somewhere around december, and the leaves don't change as much as they just fall off, so to see an actual autumn take place has me excited. and itching to decorate this house in an abundance of halloween things, but it's too damn early and no one is selling any yet. i've managed to obtain my fix by handcrafting halloween cards for my friends and family, surrounded by pumpkin spicey, nutmegy, cinnamony harvest candles.
it'll also be alot of fun because i have the new nightmare before christmas game to look forward to.
jay also has the movies to look forward to, which means i get to create even more fabulous character models of my friends. if anyone is looking for the right way to create an amazing charcter model of shaw, ask me, because i did it.
