Ooh that club you talked about sounds amazing! I love 80s music (especially Michael Jackson) so I think I would love it there. :) Anyway, I see Jack Rabbit Slim's for you. It's a place like the club you mentioned although it's designed around a different decade haha, plus it fits your this or that section well- busy, sorta dark, in the city, and indoors.

I'd actually say Güero's Taco Bar - you said you're not too big on clubs and Güero's is pretty similar to Jack Rabbit's, just more cozier and not so big, and you don't like anything too crazy.

at first i was thinking Jack Rabbit Slims, but you mentioned that you like darker places and once you said 'anti pack rat (which made me laugh!) i decided that The Diner was a better fit for you. it is 'eclectic' enough without being loud.
