State of play
My position at work is being disestablished. I finally received my redundancy letter today. As we've been negotiating over the last two weeks, my last day will be this Friday.
While parts of this process have been extremely stressful, I've also realised how much grind and thwartedness I've felt during this last year. I'm very much looking forward to a break.
So I do have to ask myself why I'm already job-hunting... *wry smile* Reflex? Status? Self-image? Momentum?
Whatever happens, next week is holiday-at-home time. Really. Despite the interview and the multiple appointments.
