All this talk of Kenwoods....

My mother's Kenwood has the white glass bowl. Anything else seems to lack the solidity necessary for Christmas cakes and dough.

But you've definitely got me thinking.

The white glass bowl on mine (was my mother's, second-hand) is cracked and held firm with tape with just the k-bar mixer remaining.

I still won't throw it out though. I miss it working properly.
