Travel Blogs are Boring

Travel Blogs are boring, but fuck writing everything down by hand, my hands ain't used to that shite anymore. Yesterdays flight was hideously early, 6:30am, which ment I was up and getting ready at 4am. Seriously only like 4 hours sleep, MAX. Anyway, we got the flight, mostly, fine. There was a bit of running at the end because we stuffed around  having cigarettes and juice. Also the hosts all jumped the queue on Jared, like about 15 of them so we were stuck at security for ages and then I got bomb checked. The guy sitting in front of Jared was a jerk, and put his seat down as soon as the seatbelt sign was turned off.

The layover was pretty standard, I was nervous and wanted to get through, Jared was more relaxed and wanting to get food and cigarettes and the like. Again we were the last people on the plane but this time because Jared decided to go to the loo just as we were boarding. It was fine though. We were positioned really close to the doors, we chose the seats. It was good, also for some reason jetstar just turned on the entertainment system without us having to pay for it. Which ended up being a big life saver cause we could watch movies and tv together. I don't think the laptop would have made it...The food I brought kept me in good stead.

We had to walk a long way once we got off the plane, then we came to this lobby where everyone was just standing around.  I wasn't sure what we were waiting for and then the doors opened and there was a train in the airport, in customs. it took us to another building and we filed through customs. We got fingerprinted and photographed, I declared my food to the customs officer and he kind of laughed at me. Then when putting on my bag it lifted up my skirt and I flashed my underwear at him, luckily I had stockings on. But he got very embarrassed and turned away .

We got our train tickets, stopped and had a cigarette in the cigarette booth and we were on our way to Ikebukuro, Once we switched trains and got into Ikebukuro the station was a maze. We decided to get out the way from people to sort our shit out but there were just masses of people moving and I feared we would never be out of the way. We finally made it to our exit and everyone was very cooly dressed. Together we found our way to the hostel easily, the map Kimi had provided was clear.

The hostel is clean and simple, though you have different slippers for different tasks - which is a bit odd. But our room is heaps big enough. After alll the travelling we were so hungry so we walked around the town til we found somewhere to eat, a simple thai place. Then we walked around Ikebukuro and spotted our first love hotel, pachinco and lots of cheezy maid bars.

This morning I woke up, showered and went to get breakfast. But realised that I didn't know the word for take away, so I ended up going to 'Family Mart' and picking up some pastries, which i'm pretty sure are full of dairy. So I  came back and worked out how to at least say I am allergic to dairy produce.
