Online Stream of Coldplay Live in Toronto 2006!
Attention Coldplay Fans!
(As I just wrote to a good friend and fellow Coldplay fan...)
I don't know if you've been following this, but Coldplay said they were going to release a DVD of their Twisted Logic Tour, and they even filmed it -- in Toronto last March -- but for some unexplained reason they/EMI decided to cancel the release of the dvd and show it on tv instead (booo I say! I say Booo!) Well it has apparently been aired in some European countries but not in the U.S., as far as I know.
Today, however, I was scrolling through some forums on coldplaying.com and someone has set up a site where the entire concert can be downloaded and viewed! It worked perfectly on my computer, opening in Windows Media Player.
To watch it, copy and paste the following into your browser:

If you put in that address and hit enter it should open up the concert in a media application. Like I said, it worked fine with Windows Media Player on my computer, so if it doesn't work on a apple program like iTunes, try opening it in W.M.P. if possible. It's a full hour and a half long, featuring the following setlist:

The quality isn't amazing, but I watched it in fullscreen mode and it wasn't too bad quality-wise. So keep you fingers crossed for a tv-airing in the U.S. (I'll let you know if I hear anything), but until then, check this out!
