Good Weekend =)
Yay! I had a good weekend!!!
It started on Friday morning. My boyfriend called and said that he really really missed me and that he was so sorry for not being able to come up this weekend. So, I did a friend a favor and took her home and then I stopped by my parent's house to visit...then I went to surprise my baby =). I went shopping at Borders bookstore and splurged on a gorgeous journal...i need it, my old one is filled to the end. Then I finally got my Inuyasha movie...and the soundtrack to the Yu-Gi-Oh movie (yes, i'm a hopeless dork...leave me alone). Then me and Luis went out to eat with his coworkers...who are an awesome bunch of people. Turns out that one of his coworkers is just recently married to a really good friend of mine from Richard Bland! and she showed up!!! That made me happy, especially when we went to play pool afterwards and I had someone nifty to talk to. THen I went home and slept in my own bed (felt sooo good).
Saturday morning we got up and then drove back here to Farmvegas....we brought the entertainment center -- here's the story on the entertainment center...I found it last semester chilling by the dumster...it was really nice looking...drawers all down the left front and then a door on the right. All the drawars were missing, but we didn't care. Diana and I claimed it and it sat in my garage alllll summer. My daddy is a miracle worker. He knocked out all the drawer spaces and put in solid shelves..then he fitted shelves inside the cabinet and one across the bottom. He painted the top and it doesn't even LOOK like it was ever scratched. I love my daddy...he's so awesome. Diana and I took him and my mom out to lunch at Charley's ... then they left and I cleaned my room. Lo and behold...my baby shows up!!! He got out of the seminar he was supposed to go to...which made me superbly happy!!!! It was Rynelle's birthday and even though we don't know her that well...Diana and I let Kimmie decorate the apartment for her. We all went to Mexico and then back here and had a lovely, drunken time.
Yesterday was alllll day with my baby. We washed our cars (big, big thing for us - we LOVE doing that) then we lounged around after lunch out and watched movies whilst I decorated my pledge book. Then my Arch. ho's came over (i.e. Nicole & Jenn) and we watched "Win A Date With Tad Hamilton" (whew...hottness!!!) and then they left to go home and I fell asleep.
*sigh* I was very content this weekend. Time for a great week ahead of me!! I get to see my niece and nephew during fall break - which makes me even more happy!!!
