save the whales

my cup was full
and we saw it
we saw it overflow
we saw what would
save our thirst..
but if we had been more
watchful in our case at first

it was good and sweet
but could have endured
it could have changed more
that was brilliance yet explored

now I sit here
alone in vain
to a cup lesser than half
as you tell me there's no filling it again

feels like a sly prank
a joke but not a truth
a hoax but around my heart
and my thought's cantor still fullproof

cause my cup is here
it's empty just like is yrs
and I ain't filling it darlin'
for some time for sure
cause the only way it's to be
is your cup again handled to me.

Decent to TN

I guess the world's a turning baby
and 2 years hasn't much worth
People Lie and people hurt
and preach with something' about going to church

they impress you with notions
and terrible enticing visions
but do you see the schemes
a huge pitfall under the dirt?

well maybe you've seen some light
stimulated some blind spot
to impart some sense
for a sudden swift grand exit

but sweetie if I may
this inst a sucrose cycle
you can bet to look in reverse to learn
but forward you are in deed to turn

if the going gets easy
maybe yr going downhill
and the reasons for your truth
are now just a life of overkill

the world aims for the ideal
and as we had it caged up..
just hid it so slightly
and to think we lost our grasp.
But we have the knowledge
and the technology
to get it back.

kind of like metaphor.

for all surfaces chipped or smooth
I never felt an imperfection in you
for every truth obscured by light
the perception is lost
and three tenses amid a fight

all the glass hidden in our path
my bare feet make it through
the forts are down with guards on leave
and the towns people are long over due

we were mere hosts
for the disease
too young to see
we loved to be sick
we loved to not know it
and now we are not to admit
that you you and me are now just three
