Partially out of boredom, and partially due to feeling flush from having my economy stimulated, I burned $50 on a student edition of Windows XP to install on my Mac.
After about five or six reboots to get everything updated (reminding me what I dislike about Windows), it seems to work fine. I can rationalize this purchase because the hospital uses Windows for the patient information management system - but really I wanted to play Portal, Bioshock, and Oblivion.
