Highlight of the week:
For the first time in 7 years, not being the ONLY kid without ashes on my head at my school.
My first Ash Wednesday in a non-Catholic institution.
No dirty looks, no odd stares, no questions about why my head isn't dirty.
It seems like nothing, but it means a lot.
What doesn't make sense is the fact that we only get Good Friday off for Easter. We're a Christian affiliated school, but we have to be back in classes the day after Easter. I don't know if that's enough time to go home...
