From Here To There & Back Again #3 is my newest zine written after moving from my beautiful home in Denver to my beautiful new home in Seattle, Washington. Secretly its been out for almost 3 months but I won’t tell if you don’t.
As with all of my zines From Here To There #3 covers a variety of topics including:
-talking about daily practices of anti-capitalism and what it means to talk about money in our queer and trans communities
-my reaction to going to Fat Girl Speaks, both my love of the event and critical thinking about cultural appropriation in fat, body positive communities (a follow up to this piece is already in the works)
-a piece about my relationship with the universe/spirituality and what it looks like to/ the challenges in integrating my relationship with the universe into my radical queer and trans communities (basically coming out a woo woo to my queer communities)
- the quick story of my first kiss
- a piece about self-care, anxiety and my decision to start taking anti-anxiety meds
