Paranormal romance -- or any lesbian romance: suggestions?
One of the novel projects yammering in my head for attention, I realized today, probably fulfills the criteria of paranormal romance. This is kind of thrilling to me because at the writers' conference I just attended, all the agents & editors seemed to be quite interested in acquiring paranormal romance. What a revelation it would be if I for once wrote something that fit into a genre, i.e., that I could sell!
Anyway... the reason I'm pestering you with all this writerly emo is that I need to read some lesbian romance or queer paranormal romance, if it exists, to get a feel for the genre.
Do you have any suggestions? Lesbian fiction you've read that may or may not be marketed as [paranormal] romance, but does fit the genre? That's well written and with 3-dimensional characters? That you liked?
