Challenge Post
Those of you that know what's going on can skip right to the LJ-cut!
Here's how Queerditch Pub will work: I give you a topic/theme for the week, and you comment to this post with a pairing and either a word or a phrase that somehow fits that theme. This is called a PROMPT. This prompt will then be presented in one of the drabbling rounds. Note that if you submit more than one prompt, the moderator may choose her/his favorite if there's not space for all of them.
And on that note, please remember that we're drabbling on SUNDAY, February 5, and we'll have TWO ROUNDS for all your drabbling needs! The first round will begin at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (that's 8 PM for the Brits), and the chat for that will begin at 2:30 PM. If you're not sure that the moderators have your Y!M name, leave it here, so we can be sure to reach you. emeraldserpent or seventybyheart will be starting the chat at 2:30 PM SHARP. If you don't receive an invite from me, I either don't have your Y!M name, or else you're invisible and I don't know you're there! If it's getting on and you haven't got an invite, please ping me, and I'll add you to the chat!
Then the SECOND round of drabbling will begin at 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (2 AM for Brits, if you really want to join us then ;D), and Medi or Tamony will be starting the chat for that at 8:30 PM. Again, same drill: leave your Y!M name, and we'll invite you into chat; if we don't have your name, we won't know you're there!
So, CHALLENGE TIME! Give me a pairing and a word or phrase that fits the theme, and then tell us WHAT TIME you will be drabbling (afternoon shift or evening shift). If you aren't positive just yet, you can comment later and let us know. However, the sooner the better, because we do need to know at least a half an hour before the chat is due to start; otherwise there won't be time to set up the drabble rounds!
That said, onto the topic...

Beer and football (or butterbeer and quidditch). Have fun and go um teams that are not mine because my team is teh fail this year.
