The Scene I Hate the Most in the Whole Entire Show

Dec 20, 2012 12:38

I rewatched 5-11 last night and was reminded how much I hate the scene in which Brian visits Justin's studio and asks him to marry him. It feels so stilted and weird, and Justin seems almost emotionless. And I hate that he seems so nonchalant about the bombing even though it happened less than 24 hours ago. He seems to reject Brian with the same ( Read more... )

Meh, over half of season 4 and half of season 5 were like WTF to me.

I guess Cowlip, writers, Randy and eventually Gale just kind of gave up? lol. Or so the wank of their collective gossip goes.

I totally could not stomach all of that scene either.

Randy is like what -- underplaying? and just like oh MEH, my ex-sugarpuff I don't wantchya now that I can have ya and Brian is like -oh noes, I haz a dream were I wazza a deadman all alone (well, duh, what did you expect half the world to die with you?) - marry me, Justin before I push daisies. FACEPALM.

And then he buys the house (okay, cool) but when he calls Justin his 'prince' I just gagged cuz it was so fake and awkward for a sec and I think even Gale was like 'are you writers serious?'

And Justin is a happy lamb cuz now he haz da house, and da garden, and da stable (we all know how he's fond of horses - why, he practicly spent half the show galloping or waiting for a galloper. FACEPALM. Now Justin can paint da house walls (for an eternity since the property is freaking huge) with Brian just like Ben and Mikey did a few episodes ago in their wittle love nest. BARF.

But then he leaves Brian cuz he wants to -- CUDDLE. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, not the Brian that spent each season petting him, nosing his cheek, kissing him in public, taking Emmett's hand off of his twinklet and yelling at his best friend for taking his boo away from him, the dude who plays with his hair and cuddles Justin's ass with his eyes alone. CUDDLING??!! WHAT IS THIS FUCKERY???!!

Gimme a break, Cowlip and just STAHP.

Which is SO frustrating! It makes me wish for what could've been if everyone had been able to play nice.

Yeah. Because even if the writing sucked (which it did), he was capable of breathing some life into it, but he just didn't bother, which meant Justin seemed so damn OoC. Maybe I need to rewrite that scene from inside an IC Justin's head . . . *ponders*

Hahahahahaha! So funny - and true :) Maybe Brian is super cuddly in bed, but he's very much so out of bed.

Nah, don't like Pennywise. Well, in the book he was cool. ;)

I've had some of them over 20 years, they haven't killed me yet.

I can't believe I haven't showered this comment with love yet! LOL! I love it :D And I'm with you, Brian cuddles Justin all the time - maybe even more than Justin cuddles him back.

LOL! That first image is priceless.
