I started reading your live journal last night and it's the shit! I like how you don't capitalize anything. I didn't know you BARFED! I think you're a good writer. I know this isn't your most polished work though, obviously. You recount a lot of events, and I wish I could hear more analysis and reflection. How did these events make you feel, what were you thinking about as these events unfolded? Perhaps I'm just super detail oriented. I dunno. Oh mi gosh, now I want to start a live journal! I'm a tad bit sad that you weren't feelin NYC, but I really think you felt it was hectic because your trip was really short and hectic. You know Maylee how I like that west coast mellow, and I felt like I could lead a reasonably mellow existance in NYC when I was there for a longer period of time. When I visited NYC for 2-3 days, it always felt crazy. I'm feelin you about the cash/ATM issue. It's just really important to plan for shit in NYC ahead of time, I learned, because you can never count on anything working out. Things would work out perfectly if I planned it well.

I know what you're saying about NY'ers thinking they're god's gift to the world. To NY'ers (and many east coast people in general) the midwest doesn't exist, the south is despicable, and everyone on the west coast is an airhead.

Oh mi god it is 9 degrees here in Oberlin and I was in 70 degree weather in DC on Thursday. Jesus.

ttyl babies.
