I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's at Target! On the salesfloor! And I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the whole store (it's fucking huge) is brand new (opened a month ago-ish) so its all clean and sparkly and everybody is new so I won't be the "new kid" and I have a better chance of getting permanent employment and/or promotions, and everybody I've talked to is really excited to meet me and hire me and I'm gonna have a regular paycheck and money and get out of debt and maybe even have xmachannukah moneys!

And today is Ash and I's 11 month anniversary and few days ago was 3 months married.
And like a week and a half ago we went to Waco and Baylor so Ash could speak about being trans* at a Center for Jewish Studies conference. And I got to see our friend Ethan's house, and Baylor, and HEB (2 of them and one of them had a duckie filled gumball machine) and then some things in Austin too. Like Toy Joy (OMG duckies) and the Gingerbread Pancake place.

At the conference I learned a lot, and I got to be Riley the whole time too and people didn't (at least outwardly) assume I was a girl. Ash's speech was fucking mindblowingly amazing and powerful and everybody there really liked it. So I got to feel lucky all over again to get to take hir home with me. I even drove part of the way each way and didn't kill the car or us! And Ash also got a two week solo art show in the campus student union here over a bunch of competitors. So I'm extra proud, and things :)

And OMG voting tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! It's my first presidential election. And I'm about to burst with excited and hope and anticip p p p pation.

And I was a Drag Queen for Halloween and the real Drag Queens all flirted with me and made me feel all special, and I'm gonna have my Drag Debut in *Real Life* at WSU because our gay group is having a drag show with professional drag queens and everything.

And I am finally reconnecting with my extended family (Grandma, cousins, and one uncle so far) and they seem to be proud of me and happy to talk to me and it is really good to have people in my life again who have known me since I was a kid and can do some amount of validating my reality and memories of my childhood, which my mom can't/won't always do with any kind of accuracy.

So aside from being stressed about money until I start making real money (~3-4 weeks) and really wanting to make it back to Minneapolis for a visit before long which is going to be difficult time and money-wise,

My Life is Really Happy Right Now. :D
