I'm not where I want to be- I'm close. I'm getting a second job so I can pay off school- pre-pay the semester and finally graduate college in May. I'm super excited, I just have to work a shit ton of hours before I am able to go back to school. I'm thinking 65 hours a week. At least I will mostly have a set schedule- and I'm not working Sunday's- that will be my one day off.
I want to graduate- the faster I get a second job- the faster I can pay off school and then start paying money to Metro- so I can have a degree.
I've done the whole work my ass off schedule- go to school, work sixty freakin hours a week. Last time I did that, I was masking a so-called broken heart. I worked to keep my mind off a recent break up- this was in 2003.
Here I am four years later in 2007 and my personal life is going great- and I'm not masking anything- I'm just trying to chase a dream.
"chase your passion like it's the last bus of the night." I'm not sure who said that- but I love the quote.
I know what I want, where I want to work when I am done with school and how I have to get there. Getting my degree is up to me- paying the damn bill and paying the school for the next semester is in my hands. Cool.
