April 1: Halfway check-point.
June 15: Rough drafts and Summaries are due.
June 18-July 15: Artists/vidders/mixers claim fic summaries.
August 1: Final drafts due from writers.
August 7: Artists/vidders/mixers' submissions due.

So...I'm thinking of writing in a historical fandom. The period is in the very early 1800s. Obviously, there was no "gay" identity then. Can I still have characters dealing with same-sex attraction even if they don't quite have the, uh, modern vocabulary/way of thinking to describe the experience with?

Oh, I'm super excited for this! Not only for the works that I'll get to read, but also because I've had a half-finished fic (that I'll probably rewrite 80% of) sitting in my Google Docs that fits here perfectly, and this big bang will be a great push to finish it. :)

If I decide to write a Sam/Dean from Supernatural fic (I'm pondering between them and Jared/Jensen) would the incest be okay? They're both adults but also brothers.

As long as they are both of age, and the concentration is on their being gay rather than their being in an insestious relationship, it should be fine.
