What I did on my summer vacation
So I'm back from vacation. Home was great -- I hung out with my family a lot, ate a lot of Zippy's chili, bought a lot of stuff, and drank a lot of delicious Hawaiian tap water. Oh, and I won $2000 playing bingo on base, which means that I can never make fun of bingo ever again. My bedroom looks like it's been hit by some kind of apparel bomb and smells like the ginger lei I have draped over my guitar case. Le sigh.
1st day back in Seattle, three of us tried to get into a free Serenity advance screening -- we had tickets and everything. We made it all the way up to the door (so close!), then the movie employees said "one more person, just one more!". So some guy who showed up to the movie by himself got to go in, and we went out for dinner instead. Ah well.
