You're not thinking fourth-dimensionally!

Yeah, so remember back when I was going on about ashwinders? I don't think I ever said it, but the obvious correlation to the eggs would be Horcruxes, wouldn't it? I mean, it's a little backwards-- but not if you count that Tom's already died once. Then it works just fine. Find those eggs quick, kids!

Also, if the whole ashwinder thing is true and if it implies that Voldemort is going to burn down to dust, that might work with the Unbreakable Vow. It's sealed with a fiery rope, so maybe the fire's what gets ya if the Vow is broken. Which could explain the very orange sky on the DH US cover. (If it's not a sunrise or sunset, which would be the obvious thing.)

One way or another, Voldemort's body doesn't really need to survive this round as long as there are witnesses to see him go. It's kind of a clunky story thing to have the villian's corpse left to deal with in a children's story.

Hm. I think I may be done talking about ashwinders. That's one down...

the end, unbreakable vow, horcruxes, fantastic beasts, death, theories, deathly hallows, ashwinder
