Flashbacks to Childhood...
So my son comes in the other night and he's like... "Look mom... I can see colors in my eyes!!" and he's like all talking in circles about the colors and Kim is looking at me like WTF is he talking about and the INSTANT he walked in talking about that I KNEW. I knew because I rememeber the exact moment I discovered as a child that if you closed your eyes and pressed hard enough on your eyelids, you will see all kinds of colors. I can remember going to my mom in our living room and telling her. It was like total de ja vu, but from a different perspective. A very strange feeling indeed. I told him, "Don't do that cause it's bad for your eyes" and he was like, "Why?". All I could say was, "I don't know why it is bad for your eyes, but when I did it, grammles told me it was bad for my eyes too."
Does anyone know what causes that? Is it because you are cutting off the blood supply to your eyeballs or what? Anyway, I got so tickled over this entire thing because I can remember the exact moment I discovered that neat little trick as a child and now MY child just did. Anyway, I let him do it one more time and asked him what colors he saw and then told him to get back in bed.
