bimonthly report?
Hey all! It's been awhile but I'm still adjusting to my schedule so my life lately has consisted of:
1. wake up
2. go to work
3. work my bootanimous off
4. come home from work
5. collapse into a pile on my bed
6. sleep the sleep of the dead
7. repeat
That said though I'm happy to announce that I only work in the nursury now and have long since been relieved from zookeeping...er I mean molding the young minds of four-year-olds. I still really enjoy my job and it's REALLY nice to still be able to say that.
In other news I went to see The Golden Compass last night. I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding the movie because the book it's based on is apparently "anti-Christian". I don't have an opinion on the book because I haven't read it but there really isn't anything in the movie that I found to be offensive to my Christian beliefs. It's just a fantasy movie, and an entertaining enough one at that. (Though they ripped off just about every great fantasy movie that's come out in the past five years so I'm having a hard time giving the movie makers any kudos whatsoever.) A word of advice though, if you're going to take the little ones to see it you might want to cover up their faces during the bear fight...gets a little gruesome towards the end. (It's not PG-13 for nothing!)
In other OTHER news I just saw the preview for the live action Speed Racer movie. It made my soul cry. My prediction: Epic Fail.
