I´ve been busy : D

And I have a lot of new stuff to post to my journal.

The most important thing is: I have a story for my diploma ! Yay. As I told you before, it´s going to be a animated movie, inspired by detective movies in film noir style. I have a detective already, I have two parallel storylines and there is going to be a murder! (or two)
I just have to start with my storyboard, but I try to get around it as long as I could, because it´s no fun at all. And as soon as the storyboard is finished and the story is definite, it´s only working through it *sigh* And it´s going to be a lot of work.

That´s how I work:

With a lot of coffee, on my carpet xD

And if I want to avoid thinking about my storyboard, I draw fanart instead. I have 3 new "Sherlock" fanarts, and 3 new sketchbook pages, with "Sherlock" and "Doctor Who" to show : D

I doodle a lot while I watch TV, and this time I thought I could actually finish some of those.
For example this one:

I restarted watching "The Hound of the Baskervilles" from 1939, after the ink incident and drew this picture. It´s Sherlock and John in the clothes of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. I love those shorts *___*

The next day, I drew this one:

Because, if "Sherlock" would be a period drama, they´d walk arm in arm all the time *__* I´d love that!
At the moment I try to figure out how I could let my detective walk arm in arm with another man for my diploma xD My professor demanded a love story after all.

Actually I drew a third Chibi-Sherlock doodle with Moriarty and Sherlock, but I didn´t want to post 3 similar pictures in a row, so, maybe next time :D

After all this cuteness, I always need to draw something completely different.
I always wanted to try something in this oldschool-batman-comic-look. I like how they use the black shadows and these 4 horrible colours to their advantage. After finding a Batman Comic with the name "Batman Detecive Comics: The Sign of Joker", I couldn´t resist to draw something "Sherlock" releated ^^

I am not very satisfied with the mofif, but I could not couldn´t think up something better. Sherlock and John running/chasing after something would have been better probably, but I think at least the style came up quite convincing. ^^
And now to my sketchbook pages.
I attend an art history class about portraits in movies, which is interesting and a good opportunitiy to draw into my sketchbook while listening : D

This is the page from last week:

and the page from this week:

They´re both on one page : D
The Doctor with the wibbly wobbly arms is my favourite <3

Tell me which one´s yours? : D

Thanks for looking <3
