I haven't written in forever! I wonder if anyone even reads these anymore..lol. Well, I am all settled in here in Gainesville, Florida. I moved here about 3 months ago and things are great. Although I miss my friends and family I really do like it here. It is fun being on my own...like a new adventure everyday. It's also great getting to be with AJ everyday. I suppose this is the longest I've ever been away from home in my life. I guess it's all part of growing up. I'm still working at Cracker Barrell...and school is pretty easy..and even fun at times. Work stinks...the management isn't very good and the people I work with aren't very nice. I'm looking for another job but there really aren't any good places hiring. Unless you consider Mc Donald's a good place to work. lol. I want to get a job at the Plasma Center here. That would be fun. But anyways, my kitten Philip is all grow'd up now...well, kinda. He's bigger but still acts like a baby. hehe. He cries until I pick him up...he loves to be held. Right now I only have 3 classes because I already finished one of them. My public speaking class ended Oct. 7th. THat was probably the most fun class I've ever taken. In that class, I made a friend named Aaron and he plays the guitar quite well. Anyways, we have been getting gigs every Tuesday night at hotels around town and I've been singing while he plays. It's so much fun. We are working on making some originals but for now we are just doing covers. It's just for fun though...we're not in it for making money or anything. We go to open mic nights and stuff like that. This upcoming weekend we are having our campus retreat- which I am very excited about! It's at a place called Camp Geneva and it's just gonna be a great weekend of fun and reuniting with old friends. AJ and I are really looking forward to it. I live in an apartment with my 3 roomates and my cat. My roomates are Aggie, Liz and Natalie. I have my own room and a huge walk in closet, and Natalie and I share a bathroom. Aggie and Liz share a room and bathroom. They are all older than me. Aggie is 21, and both Liz and Natalie are 24. We are all pretty busy so we don't spend a whole lot of time together, but we make some time every once in awhile. I hope you are all doing great and enjoying life to the fullest.
