Who's a little Joaquin fan?

Someone should stop me before I give all my money to that man. Buying his DVD's is leaving me broke. Though I do have to say most of them are rather cheap (like $8). So here's reviews on all the DVD's I bought with my birthday money.

Clay Pidgeons ($7.99)
Vince Vaughn + Joaquin Phoenix = OTP! I still couldn't believe that they were in a movie together. Watching it was weird because it was too good to be true. I really enjoyed this movie. It was dark, funny, and had the pretty in it. I kept thinking that it would have a Fight Club-esque ending to it (which if you watch it you'll probably think the same thing), but I like the way it ended nonetheless. I also really really enjoyed seeing Joaquin with longer hair and in flannel.

Quills ($7.99) - thought this was a steal because of all the Oscar nominations
Wow. I never in my life wanted to see Geoffrey Rush naked. Gross. But if you watch the movie you'll understand it's part of the story and they really couldn't avoid it... but still. Ick. So Joaquin plays a Catholic priest in this movie, but he's in love with Kate Winslet so it's all wrong and dirty and so so so hot. And a bonus for you Colin Farrel fans... ex-Mrs. Farrell herself (Amelia Warner) has a small but memorable role in this movie as the forced wife of Michael Caine.

To Die For ($9.99)
Ha. This movie cracked me up. Joaquin with a mullet = awesome. And I think I might actually like Nicole Kidman now. While Shannon is jumping with joy, I have to deal with the shame of liking Nicole Kidman. Grrrrrrrrrr. Damn you To Die For!

I bought Inventing the Abbotts for $5.50 earlier in the summer. I also bought Signs for $14.44. Yes, Joaquin, your name is now on my bank account.
