long time no update...
given my new fascination with mysapce, i haven't posted much in the way of LJ. no real new developments in my world. the obsession with Green Day continues to grow, (i'm actually streaming their howard stern interview as we speak). they'll FINALLY be playing in LA again in October so, i'll be nabbing some tickets for that when they go on sale on the 9th of this month. i'm writing some new songs, stuff i'll hopefully be recording SOON in SD. other than that, not much is happening. i came to the conclusion however that i'm extremely "over" my style. i DESPERATELY need something new. i decided i'm going to die my hair the cartoon red in the vain of clementine from eternal sunchine. i've been wanting a tattoo, mom said it's ok, so i already contacted an artist in LA to do it in the next month or so. he did the scorpion on janet jackson's back, and sleeved debra wilson from mad tv. i also want to put my cartilages back in, but with interest, adding quite a few more of them. for the past year or so, i've felt trapped in a box: singing a type of music i don't really feel, dressing in a way i don't think is expressive of me, being someone i'm really not. it's time i let the girl inside out, she needs air.
