torture...complete and utter torture...of the good kind too! laughing cures many things. as does 'light bulbs' turning on in the brain. my imagination is running wild over the true portrayal of manners in a c. 19th society--New York v. Europe. learned more interesting cultural tid bits from trish which I have experienced and now understand fuller than before. go me. gotta sleep.
